Eligibility: To use iKnowFarm, you must be a legal resident of Uganda and have a valid Ugandan phone number.
Installation: The iKnowFarm app can be downloaded from the Google Play store or shared via phone-to-phone sharing methods such as ShareIt, Cshare, Bluetooth, and Wifi-direct.
Account Creation: When you create an iKnowFarm account, you will be required to provide your name, mobile phone number, age, location, and gender. You will also choose a pin of your choice to protect your account. It is your responsibility to keep your account details up-to-date at all times.
Logging Out: You can log out of iKnowFarm by pressing the “Logout” function. Logging out does not delete your account but is a temporary exit from your account within your device.
Managing Your Account: You can receive update information from iKnowFarm via SMS when logged out or offline. If you no longer need iKnowFarm services, you can deactivate your account by going into your account settings.
Safety, Security, and Complaints: Your iKnowFarm account will be protected by your pin, which you should not share with anyone. If you forget your pin, you can receive a new verification code on the phone number you registered with iKnowFarm.
We value the privacy of your data. Any reports produced and publicized will be de-personalized and guided by our privacy policy.
If you have any complaints about our services, please report them to us immediately via the application feedback or contact section below. We will respond to any request within 5 business days.
Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights in the iKnowFarm App and its content shall remain vested in iKnowFarm or its licensors. You shall not reproduce, distribute or otherwise use any of the content or materials found on the App without our prior written consent.
User Conduct: You agree not to use the iKnowFarm App for any purpose that is unlawful, prohibited or contrary to these terms and conditions. You shall not transmit any material that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
Termination: We may terminate your use of the iKnowFarm App if you breach any of these terms and conditions. We may also discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, without notice or liability.
Limitation of Liability: We shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising out of your use of the iKnowFarm App or any part of it, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or any other consequential or indirect loss.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the iKnowFarm App or any violation of these terms and conditions.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any dispute arising out of your use of the iKnowFarm App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
Modification: We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the iKnowFarm App. Your continued use of the App following any changes shall be deemed acceptance of those changes.
